I am officially a member of the C & T publishing crew of authors! My book will be coming out in 2013. Just have to write it, that's all, LOL! So a challenging juggling act is in front of me....but it will be a satisfying one. 

The book will be about my work as a fiber artist who creates fiber art maps. It'll have a few projects and a gallery of work. I will be posting more about this as my journey progresses.

Here is a sneak peak of some of the images sent to me by Joyce, Sandra, Paula, and April. I am expecting some beautiful and expressive work from everyone (on top of all the fun and creativity!)

I am getting ready for an upcoming invitational exhibit called the "Thread of Life" that will include four of my quilts as well as those of:

Harriet Bell, Judy Chicago, Miriam Shapiro and Faith Ringgold.

The curator wanted to exhibit my quilt called African Burial Ground II, but there is a scheduling conflict. I agreed to create African Burial Ground III for this venue. It will be the third in this series and is being designed as a triptych. Here is an image of it on my design wall:
